
The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, has announced the final shortlist for this year’s Best Inductee Prize.
The finalists for the prize, sponsored by Ambassador Taiwo Ailogwehme, were announced in a press statement issued by the President, Olanshile Ogunrinu.
“This year’s entries are a testament to the dedication of campus journalists in telling impactful stories. I am particularly impressed by the quality and depth of their work,” he said.
“While only one person will receive the award, I hope this inspires all campus journalists to keep doing the hard but necessary worktelling important stories, holding power to account, and pursuing excellence with courage,” Olanshile said.

The winner would be announced
and presented with the prize gift of 100,000 naira during the induction ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
