The Disciplinary committee of the Literary and Debating Society, University of Ibadan has suspended the Jaw war quarter finals and has called for an emergency senate meeting slated for tomorrow, Saturday, December 7, 2024.
This was revealed in an internal memo circulated by the committee, following a petition by the senator from the Independence hall which alleged an injustice committed against it at the last round of the competition that held on December 5, 2024 and also called for disciplinary actions against the President of the society, Ogonna Okere.
The Jaw war quarter finals (Faculty Round) which was meant to take place tomorrow, 7th of December 2024 has been suspended in lieu of these issues.
The senate meeting is scheduled to hold by 10am at the Student Affairs conference room
