
After a five-year hiatus, the University of Ibadan is gearing up to host the fourth edition of TEDxUI on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
The event, themed “Momentum,” will take place at the KAAF Auditorium, Department of Human Nutrition, University of Ibadan, beginning at 9:00 AM WAT.
Last held in 2019, TEDxUI is making a grand return with a promise to deliver inspiring conversations and groundbreaking ideas. The independently organized TED event will feature an eclectic mix of live speakers, TEDTalks videos, and interactive sessions designed to foster deep discussions and create meaningful connections.
The speaker lineup includes individuals renowned for their achievements and contributions to society:
Michael Adelakun (Lumee and Olóòtú Agbá), a storyteller and content creator celebrated for his creative narratives that preserve culture.
Bright Sekoni, CEO of Audacia Properties.
Jumoke Omodeni, Executive Director of Excellence Generation Initiative.
Monsur Olaniran, CEO of the African Institute of Technology and Innovation.
Nnanna Alu, founder of Officahub Tech Limited.
Other prominent speakers include Ayoola Dominic, Mr. Wadud, Rhoda Robinson, Balogun Danjuma, and Precious Ibeh, whose discussions will cover innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and societal transformation.
