The Sigma Club, University of Ibadan, is set to hold the first stage of the Roseline Etuokwu Sigma National Secondary School Quiz Competition on January 18, 2025.
The event will take place at the Large Lecture Theatre, Faculty of The Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The competition, which aims to promote educational and moral development among secondary school students, will feature participants from all 36 states and 774 local government areas across Nigeria.
According to the club, the initiative is designed to introduce secondary school students to the club’s principles at an early stage, preparing them for life in higher institutions.
“We believe that by engaging with these students now, we can help guide them in manner to act and way of life as students in secondary school,” the club said.
The quiz competition is part of the club’s broader efforts to reach out to the grassroots and foster a culture of academic excellence and moral uprightness.
