FULL LIST: University of Ibadan is Nigeria’s Fourth Best Varsity in Times Higher Education Ranking for 2025

The University of Ibadan has been ranked fourth-best University in Nigeria in 2025 in a comprehensive ranking list published by the Times Higher Education.

According to the ranking, Convenant University claimed the top spot, followed closely by Ahmadu Bello University and Landmark University which took second and third places, respectively.

This list highlights a mix of private and public universities, showcasing Nigeria’s academic diversity and growing prominence in the global academic space.

The rankings evaluated institutions based on criteria such as teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.

Other Universities on the list include, University of Lagos, Bayero University, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Federal University of Technology, Minna, University of Benin and University of Ilorin, all clinching the top 10 spots in the ranking.
