The Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Ibadan branch and the Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan, inducted 252 graduating class of the 2022/2023 session at its annual induction/oath taking ceremony on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
The event, which was held at the Faculty Lecture Theatre (TLT), also featured a prize-giving session for outstanding students who finished top of their classes during the ceremony.
In attendance at the event were various important personalities including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose who duly represented the Vice Chancellor; the Chairman of NSE Ibadan Branch, Engineer Ibraheem Folarin Bello; the Guest Speaker, Mr Ibrahim Aderemi, who doubles as Cardify Africa’s Founder, among others.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose in her address rejoiced with the inductees and enjoined them to uphold the legacy of the University of Ibadan wherever they continue their professional career.
“As new graduates, you are already equipped with the technology skills to solve problems. You are one of the best problem solvers around,” says Cardify Africa’s founder, further congratulating the inductees and encouraging them to use the theoretical knowledge already learnt in school to solve practical issues in the real world.
