From 150 to 400: Transport fare skyrockets As More Students Get Stranded

Following the directive of the University management that students should vacate the premises by 2pm, transportation fees within the campus have skyrocketed.

“The situation is really terrible. Kẹkẹ is now #400 naira per person. And they are not even available. You have to call them. Kẹkẹ has become Uber that you now have to order”, a stranded student explained angrily.

Religious organizations such as MSSNUI and AUCSF are helping stranded members with their buses.
