The former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan, Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.
Confirming his appointment to our reporter, Prof Olatunbosun describes it as a call for service and a higher responsibility.
He said “I give glory to God. It is a call for service in a higher capacity which requires a high degree of responsibility. So, I would say, as an Academia, it is within the line of my career and I am so elated for the opportunity.”
He also hopes for the cooperation of staff and other members to take the university to a higher level.
“I believe that with the human resources and other things in the university we should be able to make the university more prominent, more visible and also to increase the patronage of the university and to take the university to a higher level than it has been…
“I believe that by God’s grace, these are attainable with the support of the staff and all the people in the university. I believe that this is a worthwhile experience and we will do our best in ensuring that the visibility of the school is also more enhanced and the standards of the school is also raised to a greater heights,” he added.
