Faculty of Education Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, University of Ibadan, on 26th May, 2018 held orientation programme for her fresh students.
At exactly 11:00 a.m. the orientation started with an opening prayer said by Mr. Wahab Najeemdeem. The anchor, Rt. Hon. Umar Salman Adeyemi proceeded by calling on the assistant coordinator, Mr. Abdul-Hamid Makinde to give recitation from the Qur’an.
Also included in the orientation programme was the giving of prizes for the essay competition in honour of Professor AbdulRasheed Aderinoye for the fresh students across the nine departments in Faculty of Education. While the department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundation emerged the winner with total points of 80%, the departments of Educational Management (65%) and Human Kinetics and Health Education (62%) emerged as first and second runners up respectively. The prizes were presented by Dr. Busari.
The orientaion was honoured with the presence of Professor AbdulRasheed Aderinoye from the department of Adult Education, Dr AbdulFatai Adekunle Owodunni and Dr Busari from the department of Counselling and Human Development Studies. Ameer, MSSNUI ably represented by Imam Giwa Mukhtar, Ameerah Aisha Kolapo, both fresh and stale students of the faculty.
