INI EDO CELEBRATES 33RD BIRTHDAY
The popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, turned 33 a few days ago and she decided to ’turn up’ with some of her friends and colleagues.
The beautiful actress had her birthday party on Friday night at the Eko Hotel and Suites. The birthday girl rocked a very sexy look as she partied with colleagues who included Kate Henshaw, Chidi Mokeme, Toyin Aimakhu and others.
Ini Edo began her film career in the year 2000 and has featured in more than 200 movies since that time. She is a theatre arts graduate of the University of Calabar. In 2008, she married an American-based Nigerian businessman, Philip Ehiagwina, but they later divorced. In 2013, she was announced as a judge for the Miss Black Africa UK Pageant. Due to her philanthropic gesture, the United Nations appointed her as the United Nations Habitat Envoy.
I WAS ONCE A BRICKLAYER- REEKADO BANKS
Prominent Mavin singer and entertainer, Reekado Banks is currently one of the most promising artistes in the Nigerian music sector.
Reekado has worked with industry giants such as Don Jazzy, Illbliss, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Korede Bello, Di’ja and Wale.
He explains, however, that his story to the top was not as smooth as some other people in the industry. He said he had to hawk blenders in traffic and work as a manual labourer at a construction site.
Reekado Banks’ real name is Solomon Ayoleyi Hanniel and hails from Ondo state. He had his breakthrough when he went for the audition organised by the Mavin crew and was chosen out of the thousands of contestants.
GIRL SAYS TONTO DIKE IS OWING HER, ACTRESS DENIES
Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, got entangled with a luxury shopper on 24th April, 2015 on Instagram.
The luxury shopper simply identified a Pearl Chuks called the actress out for allegedly owing her a lot of money of about N192,000 for a bag she bought on credit. The aggrieved businesswoman took to Instagram, making it known how she gave the actress a fake Givenchy bag after she could not afford the original version, adding that it has been over a month and the actress has not made any effort to pay for it. The aggrieved businesswoman said:
’’Dear @tontolet, thank you for pushing me beyond my comfort zone. I trusted you as a celebrity and gave you a Givenchy luggage bag and handbag with you promising to pay back, you couldn’t afford the original so you asked for the replica.’’
However, the actress responded that she did not owe the lady in question.
To drive home her point, Tonto Dike shared her line of chat with the businesswoman.

The Rivers state actress who is the first child in a family of four daughters and two sons said her marriage failed because her partner was not willing to make the marriage work. The actress said she regrets being divorced because as the first daughter from a royal family, it was never expected that she will walk out of her matrimonial home.
SAWYER SWEETEN, ’EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND’ CHILD ACTOR, DEAD AT 19
Former ‘Everybody loves Raymond’ child actor, Sawyer Sweeten, died on Thursday, 23rd March, 2015 at the age of 19 at the home of a family member in Texas. Sweeten’s older sister, Madilyn confirmed her brother’s death in a statement released on Thursday.
Sweeten was best known for his role as young Geoffrey Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond” where he starred alongside Madilyn and his twin brother, Sullivan. The siblings portrayed the children of Ray Romano’s character on the CBS sitcom between 1996 and 2005.
Sweeten’s other co-stars shared their own thoughts and condolences on social media. Doris Roberts, who played Sweeten’s grandmother posted on her Facebook page that Sweeten “was a very sweet young man who will be dearly missed”
A native of Brownwood, Texas, Sweeten made his first appearance on “Everybody Loves Raymond” before he turned two years old. According to the internet movie database, he also made one appearance on the Disney channel show “Even Stevens” and appeared in the little-seen 2002 comedy “Frank Mcklusky, C.I”
