The 2021 edition of the Dr Olumide Oyebanji Memorial Inter-faculty Oratory Competition is set to hold on August 20.
In the one-day oratory competition, competing speakers from different faculties in the University of Ibadan will be showing their argumentative prowess and speaking for or against the topic: Virtual Learning: The Future of Education.
The faculties which emerge with the first, second, and third positions will be awarded cash prizes. The faculty which emerges with the first position will be awarded a cash prize of 40 thousand naira, the faculty with second position will have 25 thousand naira, while 15 thousand naira will go to the third faculty.
The oratory event will be holding at the Large Lecture Theatre of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at the University of Ibadan, by 9:30 a.m.
