The chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM, on Thursday, 31st October, 2019 inaugurated the University of Ibadan Human Resource club.
The inauguration which was held at the Faculty of the social sciences LLT had in attendance Mr Wale Adediran – CIPM president, Mrs Funmi Onasanya, Dr Olumuyiwa Oludayo, Dr Busari – the club’s staff adviser, among others.
Dr Olumuyiwa Oludayo, in his lecture, said “there are six elements of multiple competencies and they are credentials, attributes, skills, knowledge, experience, and talent”. All these six, he said, are essential in determining the employability of a person.
Also, Dr Busari, the staff adviser of the club, commended the CIPM for deeming it fit to facilitate the creation of such club in the University of Ibadan. He then disclosed that the University will be having, very soon, the department of Human resources.
