BUKOLA ALADA OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW UI, WINS BOSAN SCHOLARSHIP

Just like the 26 law students of the University of Ibadan who bagged a first-class degree in the 2019 Nigeria Law School final bar examinations, another student of the University has once again given the Institution a reason to raise her shoulders high.

Alada Bukola Fatima, a 500 level law student of the University of Ibadan was awarded a scholarship that worth five hundred thousand naira per annum, in the Body Of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) award ceremony, on Saturday, 30th November 2019, at Eko Hotels Suits, Lagos State.

The scholarship according to BOSAN would last till she finishes from the Nigeria Law School, and this has not only attained for her honor, but also recognition in her profession, and has as well given her the status of a BOSAN Scholar.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Idowu Olayinka in his message, thanked BOSAN for creating an avenue which motivates law students to strive hard in their academics and profession.

“We thank BOSAN for instituting the scheme which is to motivate law students to aspire to excellence in both character and learning, and to positively impact on the standard and quality of legal education on a sustainable basis,” he said.

He also went ahead by congratulating Bukola, her Dean, Professors, Lecturers and her Parents for the honor and distinction she has brought the institution.
