Honorable Olamide Omotunde, representing Alexander Brown Hall of Residence has emerged Speaker for the 10th Assembly, University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council (UI’SRC).
The plenary sitting which had one hundred and fourteen (114) honorable members in attendance was held at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building, University of Ibadan.
Elected through a secret ballot system, Honorable Olamide Omotunde won with a majority vote of fifty-seven (57) against the second aspirant, Honorable Gbenuola Oluwole who accosted a lesser fifty-five votes, with two (2) void recorded.
Election for the other principal UI’SRC officers are underway as of the time of this report.
