In a shocking turn of events, the University of Ibadan Female Football Team will not feature in this year’s NUGA Games, scheduled to hold later in 2025 at the University of Jos.
This comes despite their impressive 2–1 comeback victory over LAUTECH at the New Awolowo Stadium on Thursday, September 25.
Sources confirm that the Amazons were not duly registered by the appropriate authorities, ruling them out of the national competition.
