ANUNSA UI INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS, CONDUCTS HANDING OVER CEREMONY

The University of Ibadan chapter of the All Nigeria United Nations Students and Youth Association, ANUNSA on Satuanunsarday, 27th August, 2016 inducted new members in an event which also witnessed the hand-over ceremony of its executive officers.

The ceremony which started around 1pm, took place at Dapper Hall, Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan.

Giving a symposium during the event on the theme, “NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN, A CHARGE ON THE UNITED NATIONS YOUTHS”, one of the executive members, Anunsite Kehinde Odanye, admonished the new members to wake up and take up active roles in order to develop the world in which we live.

“Knowledgeable ones are the ones who are not too young to run”, he said. Informing new members of their need to develop and see themselves as individuals who have the abilities to achieve great things while their age was still young.

One of the invited guests who graced the occasion, Mr. Emmanuel Akinola, who is also the National President of ANUNSA, encouraged the new members to be good leaders and also to work hard so as to achieve the goals of the organisation.

“Try as much as possible, form a team with yourselves and form a team with your new members”, he said, while congratulating the second-time President, Anunsite Ayo David.
