ACJ OAU Set to Hold Second Edition of International Campus Journalism Conference

The Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University (ACJ OAU) is set to hold the second edition of her International Campus Journalism Conference 2025 on Saturday, 3rd of May, 2025 at the BOO C Lecture Theatre, Obafemi Awolowo, Ile Ife, Osun State.

The theme for the conference is; Media for Development: The media as a tool for innovative drive and socio political economic transformation.

The event promises two panel sessions with panelists from various mainstream journalism outlets, including Daniel Ojukwu and Abímbólá Abatta of FIJ, Also Abiodun of The Nation Newspaper, Osarennoma Saba and so many others.

Speaking to UCJUI, the President of ACJOAU , stated that this year’s edition will take “another dimension”.

In his words, “ICJC over the years, has been gatherings of Campus Journalists that enable an avenue for networking and learning from the professionals directly in the industry.

This year, just like previous years will take another dimension, where we thematically focus on how the media can be devised for development in Socio-Political and economic outcome in Nigeria.”
