The Students’ Union Electoral Commission has announced that the voting process will resume soon.
The interim Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Adeoye, stated this while speaking with UCJUI around 4:50 pm.
She assured students that the commission is on top of the situation, adding that the site will be back soon.
UCJUI understands that even though the exercise was scheduled to hold between 8 am and 3 pm, at the time of writing this report, only a minute fraction of students had been able to cast their votes.
