Following the technical issues that have affected the usability of the University’s portal, the deadline for course registration has been shifted from the slated Friday, April 16th to Friday, April 30th.
This was made known in a statement released today (Friday) and signed by the University’s Registrar, Mrs Olubunmi Faluyi.
UCJ UI had earlier reported how the portal became epileptic arising from “too many pressure” from students who want to beat the former deadline in order to avoid extra payment.
The statement read in part: “This is to inform all students who are yet to complete their registration of courses, that the deadline earlier fixed for today, 16 April, 2021, has been extended without penalty.”
“This is in view of the technical hitches on the registration portal. Kindly note that there will be no further extension thereafter,” it added.
“Students are therefore enjoined to ensure that they complete their registration within this period.”
