Emmanuel, the abducted UI student, regains freedom

University of Ibadan student, Emmanuel Odetunde, who was abducted on his father’s poultry on Monday has been released by his abductors.

UCJ UI had earlier reported that the abductors had requested for a ransom of a hundred million naira (#100,000,000) for his release. 

Emmanuel tweeted through his twitter account with the handle @dr_emmay to tell the general public about his freedom.

According to him, “I was released at 7:15pm today. I’m currently with my family. Thanks for the prayers. I appreciate”
