UI COMMENCES FUMIGATION OF HALLS

The management of the University of Ibadan had commenced the fumigation of halls-of-residence, starting with Kenneth Mellaby Hall on Monday, March 30th.

The fumigation exercise is carried out to ensure that halls are conducive for residents.

UCJ UI also learned that the fumigation exercise, this time around, would be carried out twice in halls, and Alexander Brown and Falase Halls had been fumigated twice.

However, the Dean of Students, Professor Keye Abiona, explained that fumigating the halls twice is to make the exercise ‘very effective.’ He added that, ‘The second round (of fumigation) will be a week interval in all the halls. Fumigation covers all areas within each Hall.’
