In its bid to prepare its students, particularly the finalists, for post-graduation labour market demands, University of Ibadan, through the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships) has partnered with Ziqora Solutions to deliver Google Digital Skills Training to its final year students.
The training comprises a workshop that is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 between the hours of 11.00 and 14.00 as well as a community model follow-up which involves Ziqora Solutions working with its community trainers and volunteers to guide its trainees on how to create digital presence for their businesses and the job seekers among them on how to utilize digital skills for their goals.
As an additional opportunity to participants of the Ziqora Solutions Google digital skills training, EEI Africa has collaborated with RemotePro to organize a career development masterclass for every participant of the Google Digital Skills training. The masterclass, EEI Africa says, will “help participants enhance their career and brand through the proper use of social media, build a solid career in corporate organizations and earn from freelancing and remote jobs.”
The career development will comprise training sessions on CV branding, job application processes, interview preparation, and mock-ups.
