Dr. Chovwen, the Queen Elizabeth II Hall Warden suspended the Executives led by Ambali Olajumoke (a.k.a Ambyjay) on June 1st, 2018. According to reports, they were all suspended indefinitely because they allowed males to enter the hall during the last freshers’ variety night.

Although they pleaded with the hall warden, the assistant hall warden and the dean of the students. They were given a letter to hand over the hall properties with them to the acting excos. They were asked to write a letter to explain what really happened and why they went against the law(s). And the letter also should explain the reason they shouldn’t take any disciplinary actions against them.

Aside from allowing male students into the hall at the variety night, another offence was at the Gyration night in Kuti Hall. They were questioned why they allowed Queenites (particularly the freshers) go to Kuti hall.

According to reports, two supervisors in Queens hall met with several Queenites to replace the hall chairperson, but many declined.
