“I WAS BORN WITH RAP,” SAYS LARYNX

Adesiyan Olarenwaju widely known as Larynx who is a 400 level student of the Faculty of Education, Department of Adult Education ,University of Ibadan known in UI for being a rapper has said he was born with Rap.

The artist said he took after his father who though knew how to rap but didn’t venture into it for some reasons.  He started singing in his second years in the University of Ibadan and he has released 3 songs ; Hoodlife which was his first song where he described how life can be or is hard for the not too well to do in the society.After this, he released “Shift lemme faint where he featured Lil Rain a 300 level student of the department of sociology and faculty of social science and his latest song ” Faraki”. He has however said we should anticipate a new song from him.

The artist has Olamide Baddo, Reminisce and Vector as his role model in the Nigerian music industry and he has a lot of admiration for Sultan a graduate of the faculty of law UI and other UI artists such as Biggie, Mona Queen, Nifty,Narvana and lots of others. The uprising artist also performed in the recently concluded UI Campus Storm organized by Unity Bank and brought Adekunle Gold to campus.
