Akinsunmade Akinwale a student of faculty of social sciences, department of Geography currently in 300 level has reviewed in a recent interview by the Union of Campus Journalist’s(UCJ UI) Entertainment Editor Alatishe Oluwaferanmi that he is the best artist in UI based on the fact that he has a large number achievements compare to other artists on campus.
The artist claimed he started composing songs as early as age 6 and that his primary school encouraged him into being a musician and that music flows in his family.
He has released quite a number of songs of which “Testimony” released in 2015 was his first song after which he released Blessing, Mun Jojo and Aye his latest where he featured a lot of artists from OAU, Adekunle Ajasin, Mapoly and his immediate blood sister.
The artist who derives his inspirations from the Nigeria system of government, the feelings of the people has revealed that he has a lot of songs in stock which he is yet to released due to financial constraints, as he will be required to spend a lot on the promotion and advert of the songs.
By virtue of the post he holds in the Uni Ibadan entertainment industry, he urges the university community to promote and encourage their entertainers and desist from the habit of under paying or not paying them for shows.
Also that his fellow entertainers should develop and cultivate more spirit of team work as it will aid and quicken the achievement of their goals which is to be known in Nigeria and beyond.
